8"x11" Mechanical pencil.
After sketching my favorite Disney heroines, I decided I need some practice on the men. Thus, the first page of my Disney heroes sketches!
In case you need some help, the heroes are:
- Aladdin
- Tarzan
- Li Shang from Mulan
- John Smith from Pocahontas
- the Beast (in his human-form) aka Prince Adam
- Prince Philip from Sleeping Beauty
I discovered that the heroes are harder to draw than the heroines... for me, at least. There are less details and the lines are straighter, so you would assume drawing them would be easier, but no. Not for me, but I guess I am odd.
So... I am not quite happy with Li Shang or John Smith. Before I ink this piece, I definitely need to tweak those two.
Anyway, to get more practice in with drawing guys, I am going to sketch a second page with even more Disney heroes. I am having too much fun.

I'm impressed!! these are really quite good!! I'd love to see individual drawings of some of them. I think you did best on Beast, Phillip, and Aladdin.
